Campagnolo EPS Time Trial Launch

Campagnolo has made it official: it’s in the electronic shifting business for time trials and triathlons. The much-anticipated electronic shifters for the ends of aero bars and integrated into the tiny base-bar brake levers that debuted in the team time trial at the Giro d’Italia with Lampre-ISD, Movistar and Lotto-Belisol are here. Accompanying the shifters and brake levers are two levels of aero cranksets and a number of new aerodynamic wheels. For the first time in its history, Campagnolo is conducting a global product launch not on Italian soil, and it chose Southern California as the launching pad for a product whose principal sales will be to triathletes. With the new bar-end shifters, the levers always return to center after a shift in either direction, and they can shift all 11 gears in a single go in either direction.
