GAINING THE EDGE WITH BIKE FIT

Watching this year’s Tour de France can inspire the inner racer in every cyclist, even if we only fantasize about riding with their precision.
Bike fit is not just for Tour riders, however, the pros remind us of how critical proper alignment to the bike is for ultimate performance in this sport with the least risk of injury.
Have you been fitted to your bike since its purchase? And we don’t mean just adjusting the seat height and handlebar reach. A proper fit is a much more comprehensive process and one worth completing so that you may deliver your best performance on every ride. You’ll know if your alignment is off when your knees hurt, your hands are numb or your neck is sore after a long ride, but waiting until these clues appear could prove detrimental.
Here at Rock N’ Road Cyclery, we have taken bike fit very seriously since 2006 and helped improve efficiency and comfort of hundreds of riders. We have also given the competitive edge to state and national champions, not to mention all the KOMs and QOMs on Strava!!
