Back in the late 90s I bought a used hybrid bike cheap to use for commuting in Boston. It had a set of Shimano's biopace rings on the crank and I got no small amount of heckling from my riding buddies when they saw it.
Anybody see Bobby Julich's time trial at Criterium International covered by OLN? A savvy camera operator caught a nice glimpse of his cranks. What you think Gary?

The rings are French made and claim that their idea is exactly opposite the Shimano idea. Now, there's a surprise.
