I measured the Rt66 course yesterday and thought I would provide a link to anyone interested in a profile:

Ignore the speed. I drove it in my car because it appears to be a popular shortcut at rush hour for the locals doing about 70+. However, I can't imagine there would be any traffic here on a Saturday morn.

Cool graphic .. but can you "describe" the climb ... is it like Piru or Santiago?

Not much climbing in Rt66 at all really. Just for comparison I'll put a link for Santiago Canyon to the forum. When I was at Rt66 I spoke with Ray on the phone. He seemed to think wind might be the bigger issue than anything. That area being a big mountain pass, it was whipping around across the road while I was there. However, that was 5 in the afternoon and I am sure conditions would be different in the early morn.
