I have a customer who needs a top notch tt frame. The BMC is out since they won't sell it to me. So I need some other possibilities. Cost is not an object, but it has to be fast and it has to look well put together.

You might try a couple of different options here. The Cervelo P3 Carbon is an excellent choice. I see them all over the place and our very own Gary Tingley rides one. It was on this very machine that David Zabriskie set the record at the TDF for the fastest TT in the race's history. It's credentials speak for itself. Another idea, one that I'm currently researching for myself, is the Isaac Joule. Very sexy! Time's RXR is another uber frame check it out. The Look 496 Triathlon is definately an eye catcher. De Rosa has a pretty good offering this year. I saw it in pics from interbike this year but I don't know if you can get it yet. Might be worth investigating. Storck is another one. Any one of these with an Oval Jetstream and you will have one sick set-up. I agree that the BMC would be the coolest thing you could get. Too bad BMC isn't interested in making money as they won't sell you one. I don't understand how they expect to profit from their business if they won't sell their products. Oh well too bad for them. Let me know what you think and what you decide to do.

On a serious note, I would take a hard look at the Specialized transition, it is a very fast time trial bike, with all the bells and whistles. You can check one out at Rock N'Road Cyclery or visit them on the web at http://www.rocknroadcyclery.net/.

well I wrote that before I had really researche the Ordu. Plus he said cost was no object so then why would you settle with the Ordu? go with something that will cost the most and be the uberest thing on the road right? Don't get me wrong though the Ordu is a good bike from what I can see but I do have some issues with it. Bottle has to be on the down tube (for obvious reasons but....) no internal cable routing. What's the deal with that? I don't think with the placement of the cables that it will make any difference but still. None-the-less I still might just acquire myself one. We'll see.

Cervelo Carbon P3 with Zipp Z series 999 ceramic bearings or Lightweight Obermayers, SRM scientific version, Hed or Zipp aerobars, CeramicSpeed ceramic drivetrain. It's not the frame so much as what you put on it. Ken
