Subject: Unique TT event

Hey all-

Unbeknownst to many people the LA Triathlon (Sept 9) has a bike only TT event. Sorta mass start but nearly 40 k of closed roads from Venice Beach, through W. Hollywood, down Sunset Blvd, up and over to Grand Ave, go right by the Disney Concert Hall, and finish up near the Staples Center. My brother rode it last year and had a blast. How many times will you get to do a ~40 k TT on closed roads?
