Some where out there in cyberspace is an article with step by step instructions on how to modify a front caliper brake to time trial purposes----
Does anyone know where I can find it?

I know of a certain "aero front brake" manufactured by Oval Concepts, which is more-aero because it is mounted behind-the-fork http://www.ovalconcepts.com/productsGenereDett.php?idGenere=4&idCat=1 . I think the logic is that the air-flow is smoothed around by the face/leading edge of the fork with the brake calipers and shoes drafting behind the fork, which would otherwise be made more turbulent by the relatively rough shape/dimensions of the front calipers breaking the wind in front of the fork.
But on the otherhand, based on my reasoning (sometimes flawed), I see many modern forks nowadays (including the one on my Specialized TT rig/will not accomodate the Oval aero-brakes)) already have an aero-shaped "tail-end aero-camber" that I think will do much to smooth out the turbulence created by the standard front mount caliper brakes before any significant drag is produced. But I ain't no aerodynamic-engineer of any sorts...... so if an aerodynamicist would please support or refute my arrogant pseudo-scientific statements.
BTW Happy Turkey holidaze...... did Toms Farm TT earlier in the day; only 8 miles out/back (i guess they've shortened it from the previous 9 miles); hit it harder on the general incline of the 4 miles out..... and it was supposed to be a 35-40mph decline-hammerfest back; but the goshdarn headwind made it a slogfest; but I finished good; passed a few TT participants 2-3 minutes in front, but wasn't able to catch my 30-second man until the finish line.........
