It's payday and I wanna sign up for the Feb-10 Fiesta Island TT, but registration has closed already! SO, if ANYBODY who's signed-up for the Cat-4 or 4/5 Fiesta Island TT about 10 days from now, and has a change of plans, then please reply to this and I'll pay you for the cost and then some. Dang!
The following is an excerpt from a very recent Cyclingnews.com article, and it somehow has the harmonic undertones of the 1996 Atlanta games Superbike/Rebecca Twigg/Chris Carmichael fiasco:
"Some of her (Sarah Hammer's) competition would undoubtedly like to get their hands on that sort of advantage for themselves prior to this summer's games and Felt does plan to offer the TK1 as a production model… but not until after Beijing. Wisely, Hammer and Felt would prefer to keep that trump card to themselves for the time being but that apparently hasn't kept some riders and teams from asking anyway.
"We've had a ton of interest in it already. The Korean guys have been calling our marketing guy, the New Zealand guys are bugging us… a lot of teams are interested in it," said Buckenberger.""

man, a world class cyclist with a dope machine (street talk) like that (I believe Taylor Phinney's got one too for his plan of attack in Beijing), and for exclusive use in obtaining extra competitive edge (several meters faster in a 3-4km pursuit); Sarah and Taylor should be coming home with those jade-inlaid medals in the color of............ otherwise, it'll be like an undesirable sequel to Superbike 1996: the Superbike II at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Whoa, that was 12 years ago!
