BTW, regarding a hotel near FI, I used Priceline once and got the Hilton for under $100. Saved me an early, early morning drive down from LaLa Land. Another time I got the Hyatt Regency down the road from Sea World for ~$100. Very sweet. Anyway, might be worth a shot if you're interested.

Thanks! I'll have to keep that in mind. One of the hitches I have is my dog. If I stay over night, I have to take her. This means I either find somewhere that will allow me to bring her or I have to sneak her in or board her for the evening...which adds to the overall cost. I'll drive down once and see how things go. If not for Santiago Cyn. the day prior I might just take the weekend and spend it in SD with my girlfriend. We both love the Wild Animal Park and try to find excuses to go a couple times a year anyway.
I'll keep my eyes open for hotel deals.

Unless I'm just not following this, I don't see where dropping a single race will make a difference. Last I checked, there wasn't anyone who scored in all events. We could all drop a race and it wouldn't make a difference on the standings. The only thing that would equalize the results and really say that the "Fastest Man" in the group won the category overall would be to take the Top-10 races (or pick your number...) and tally it then. At that point it doesn't become an issue of who went to the most races, but really who was the fastest during the season.

Do they post the times from the race? I forgot my numbers, where do they post the results?
Thanks

Jeff, I think we agreed somewhere up the thread that it would have to be something like best 12 out of 16 to make a difference. You're right. 1 race dropped would have no effect.

Which race?
Fiesta posts results online, usually the same evening of the race.
Unfortunately, AFAIK, Santiago doesn't post the results online. They should appear on the results section, at some point, when the results get to Gary, and the site gets updated. Other than that, I believe Rock & Road has a hard copy of the results at the shop.

Rock & Road has a copy of the results. Just call them and ask. They don't even make fun of you if you're time sucks

Gary,
Results for Tom's Farm are already posted, so they should have those to you now. I just want to see my name high up the standings for as long as it lasts before the really fast guys start racing again.
