    2011 SoCal Cup Changes Announced - $10,000 in Cash to be Awarded

    The SCNCA is announcing several significant changes to the SoCal Cup for 2011:

    * There will be an overall $10,000 cash purse that will be awarded to the Best All-Around Rider Categories
    * Jerseys will be awarded to all category winners
    * There will be no changes to the existing Rider and Team Categories
    * Payouts will go five deep to SCNCA riders only
    * Time Trials will be eligible for SoCal Cup points
    * Starting July 1st, all races will awarded 1.5 times their normal SoCal Cup points (Criteriums will move from 1.0 to 1.5. Road races will move from 2.0 to 3.0).
    * Starting August 1st, all races will awarded 2.0 times their normal SoCal Cup points (Criteriums will move from 1.0 to 2.0. Road races will move from 2.0 to 4.0).
    * Time Trials will move from a normal .5 uplift factor to 1.0 in July and August
    * SCNCA Championships will not be eligible for any additional uplifts in July or August

    Master's 35+ $1,500
    Master's 45+ $1,000

    Women 3/4 (01/01 to 05/15)** $500
    Women 3/4 (05/16 to 08/28)** $500
