I received a call from Tren last month about the condition of the course at Piru and he told me that it was not usable and that he would have to find another location for his TT. The bridge that was used to access the course was washed out from all of the heavy rains they had up there he told me.

Hi everbody. Yes we are a go for this weekend at Piru. This is how you get to the race course. Take the 126 Freeway to the city of Fillmore. Head south on A street (AKA Highway 23). Turn left on Guiberson Road. About 7 miles to the start/finish area. Any questions call me 805-340-2673. Thank you everyone who attended the 40k today. Hope to see everyone for the 20k on Sunday. Remember we are a cup race and don't forget to set your clocks forward tonight.

Hi everybody
just a reminder, we are a go for the Piru ITT the weekend of May 7th(40k)
and May 8th (20k)
The 20k is the final race of the 2004-2005 cup series. A chance to get some of those final points that are up for grabs.
Hope to see you all out there.
Remember, you will need to get around the washed out bridge on Torry Rd. here's how:
From LA take the I-5 to the 126 West (As usual, but here is were it changes)
Go to the town of Fillmore and make a left/south on"A" St.(aka Hwy 23) Look for the gas stations on two of the four corners. If you pass IHOP, you've gone too far.
After you have turned onto A St. you will go approx. 3/4 to 1 mile (1-2km.) down the road to Giberson Rd. Make a left/ East. You are now on the race course.
You made it!
Keep an eye out for any dirt or debris you may need to avoid during the race.
The course is pretty clean, and we have been doing a little more shoveling and sweeping each time we get out there.
Reg @ 8am, First rider leaves the line at 9 sharp.
See ya soon!
Tren, Jen, Zander and the crew.

Hi Everybody,
I wanted to let you all know that Jen gave birth to our son, Zander William Morris.
11th May 2005 10:30pm.5Lbs 3oz 17" long. He didn't want to come out. Jen's water broke, and Zander had turned around the wrong way.
After talking to the Dr. it was desided the best thing to do was a "C" section.
Zander was 4 weeks early. He and mom are very health and recovering well.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Come out to Piru and see the little man for yourself. Jen thinks she will be feeling well enough to do the timing.
What a trooper.
See ya at Piru 40k June 4th and the 20k June 5th.

Howdy,
Jen, Zander and I took a little drive out to Piru earlier today and the bridge is back!!!!!!!
It is just dirt piled up with gravel on top of it, so don't plan on riding your road bikes across it.
However, Jen's VW Jetta made it just fine.
See ya out there.
Tren, Jen and Zander.

Yo, Yo, Yo, everyone!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
In case any of you were planning to come out to Piru this weekend, we have to postpone to next weekend (Jan 13, A Sorry goes out to good folks at Tom's farm) If you are closer to Tom's farm, go and race with them! They are a "cup race".
However, if you are not planning to attend Tom's, Please come and race with us. Weather pending of course!
If we recieve bad weather next weekend, we will have to cancel for the month. Keep yur fingers crossed. Speaking of Cross... if you are in the area of the Piru ITT this weekend, the course would be a lot of fun on a cross bike!
I just drove the course tonight, it was very ridable just not great to TT on. A little mud, a little water, etc...
All the best in the new year!
Tren, Jen & the Zander-man.
