    Where can I find time trial gear such as booties, and bolt on skewers?

    You can find all of this equipment at Rock N Road Cyclery in Mission Viejo, the owner, Matt Ford, is an expert time trial racer and can get you set up right.

    I personally prefer quick release skewers, as do the majority of time trial racers I know. There is no measurable difference between skewers as long as you position the paddle to the rear. I find that it makes for more secure front wheel fixing, and for faster wheel changes.
